2023 - we made it
Barely and like with a lot of crying I think. What a wild couple of years it has been, between a pandemic, finalizing my divorce, and changing careers again, Jesus take the wheel. I retired from the beauty industry for what seems like the millionth time, and made the decision to once again explore academia, perpetually being in debt to the government is just a really fun hobby of mine.
Besides all of that, I have to say that I am so proud of myself and the growth that I have experienced, don't mind me while I humbly bullet point my string of recent successes:
Published my second book - which made me realize how far I have come in my writing.
Started a new career in Property Management - earned my CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) designation, two months after jumping into the industry.
Met someone on Bumble who is surprisingly great - I have made it 6 months without having any kind of wild mental breakdown about why dating is terrible and men are trash.
Thriving in therapy - not much to say about this other than I highly recommend working towards being the best version of yourself.
Have successfully kept my tiny human alive for almost five years and cannot believe that they will be in kindergarten next year.
There are so many things I hope to accomplish this year, one of them being better at updating this joke of a website I dane to call a blog. So, if you're new here, welcome, and if you've been following along for a while, time to turn the page to the next chapter.
